Courtney Bengtson
Courtney Bengtson integrates and connects strategy and funding opportunities in support of the Foundation’s goals.
As Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Wichita (KS) Community Foundation, Courtney integrates and connects strategy and funding opportunities in support of the Foundation’s goals. She joined WCF in September 2013 and has served in various roles.
She is the current project lead for WCF’s Knight Foundation Fund, the News and Information Fund and the Talent Ecosystem Fund.
Her past experience includes time at Bothner and Bradley, Inc. and the Wichita State University Foundation. Courtney has a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, both from Wichita State University. She was named to the Wichita Business Journal’s 20 to Watch in the 2020s, WBJ’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2016 and the 2018 Leadership Wichita class.
